About the Team:
The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company's regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. Our Compliance Monitoring and Testing (CMT) team, in particular, is an independent oversight function responsible for planning and executing assurance activities. The goal is to ensure that systems, processes, and controls are operating effectively and sustainably.
What You'll be Doing:
This role will oversee the development of the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program, partnering closely with other Compliance Leaders, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Risk. Responsibilities include:
Own, design, and manage the Compliance Monitoring and Testing Program
Lead, train, and mentor a team responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews globally
Establish a process to track and validate the implementation of remediation plans
Communicate compliance framework and CMT Program requirements to relevant stakeholders
Engage cross-functionally to establish global processes, standards, documentation, and test plans
Assist with special projects as needed
What We Look For in You:
We are looking for candidates with:
4+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, FinTech, or cryptocurrency industries
Experience in compliance monitoring and testing roles, overseeing CMT programs
Knowledge and understanding of financial services regulations, compliance, policies, and procedures
Proven leadership and project management skills
Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements and lead projects with high risk and complexity
Comprehensive understanding of operational risk management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, critical thinker, and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment
Intuitive, highly ethical, and comfortable to question and challenge
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with BSA/AML, money transmission, and consumer protection regulations, and industry best practices. CAMS, PMI, or equivalent certification.

OKX Statement: The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $230,000. The salary offered depends on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
