Job Description

Program Manager – Applied Intensive Care (AIC)

Reporting: Assistant Director / Director of AIC / Director of Behavioral Health / others as appropriate

Positions Supervised: None

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, varied schedule based on caseload

As the Program Manager, you will serve as the lead clinician for a caseload of clients and staff, working under the direction of the assistant director. You will train and provide ongoing support to 1:1 staff delivering treatment services, collaborate with the Program Supervisor on case needs, and provide direct service to clients. You will manage treatment plans, monitor progress, and communicate daily implementation details to the agency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor 1:1 staff, providing initial and ongoing training using a BST model.

Develop, implement, and monitor client treatment plans, progress, and data collection.

Provide direct behavior support, case management, and 1:1 services in AIC and community/home settings.

Coordinate client intake, referrals, and transition plans; maintain accurate documentation in agency systems.

Schedule and oversee staff assignments, including direct treatment, office time, and travel.

Communicate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members regarding schedules, materials, and treatment updates.

Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing requirements, and ethical standards.

Participate in disciplinary or performance decisions in collaboration with HR.

Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising behavior plans, assessments, and intervention strategies.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

Attend supervision, staff development, and team meetings as required.

Complete other duties as assigned, including data collection, case presentations, and accreditation tasks.

Handle moderate physical activity required by the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (5 years); enrollment in ABA Certificate or Master’s program preferred.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the BACB preferred.

Competency in data collection, progress note writing, and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and agency-specific software.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

Adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards in a behavioral health setting.

Basic Requirements

Productivity: 28 hours per week, aligned with client caseload.
