**Customer Service Representative** Location **710 Trucking & Transportation-Aromas/San Jose** **Job Summary**

This position is responsible for sales of Graniterock Trucking to ensure the delivery of short- and long-term goals.

**Essential Job Accountabilities**

- Comply, understand, and promote Graniterock safety initiatives ensuring Safety before All Else to achieve zero safety incidents.

- Serve as the key customer contact for material orders and delivery quotes

- Provide world class customer service while serving as the key customer contact to respond to customer requests, identify needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.

- Process trucking documentation including truck tags, timecards, Notice of Sales (NOS), hand tags and Product Service Discrepancies (PSD).

- Reconcile daily cash deposits; work with Accounts Payable Specialist to reconcile owner/operator outside hauler payments; reconcile daily Transportation dispatch sheet to daily sales.

- Educate customers on Graniterock materials and trucking services to promote the Company and drive our business.

**Education and Work Experience**

* High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in business or related field desired

* Some related driving/construction/dispatch experience.

* 2-3 years logistics, dispatch or construction transportation experience preferred

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to interface effectively with coworkers, management and customers.

* Strong customer service, public speaking and presentation skills.

* General knowledge of aggregates and trucking

* Ability to work collaboratively and independently, as well as part of a team.

* Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.

* Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

* General understanding of construction site and truck safety requirements.
