**Job Description:**
We are seeking a versatile and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing support in ticket creation and documentation.
This position requires the employee to work onsite at a classified Government facility on Port San Antonio three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications
+ Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions
+ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
+ Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes
+ Create and manage tickets in Jira and assist other team members in their ticket creation
+ Document processes and projects in Confluence
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must possess a minimum of a Secret level clearance
+ Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
+ Minimum of 5 years of proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira
+ Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence
+ Minimum of 5 years of understanding of DevOps practices and tools
+ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines
+ Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
+ Experience with agile development methodologies
+ Familiarity with unit testing, CVEs, penetration testing and test automation
+ Familiarity with Git, ArgoCD, OWASP, NodeJS, JWT, OAuth
