Job Summary:
You will be responsible for managing the on-site operations of projects, directing field personnel and maintaining good communication with the subcontractors, architects, engineers, planners, surveyors, inspectors, designers and clients in order to make sure the job is finished on time and within budget. You will also demonstrate leadership skills and will maintain a safe work environment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience
Field work experience with multiple construction trades, including framing, electrical, plumbing, concrete, grading, finish, etc.
Minimum 10 hour OSHA certified
Reliable transportation to get to job sites
The ability to prepare work schedule and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
The ability to read and interpret plan drawings and make sure the project is built according to plans
Quality control – conduct inspections of products and services to ensure they meet quality standards
Financial control – manage financial resources allocated to a project and accounts for expenditures and ensure project is completed within budget
Basic computer knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Must have a keen attention to detail
Maintain daily reports that track the progress and inspections of the project
Required experience:
Construction Superintendent Experience: 10 years
Experience in luxury custom home building required
Experience with large scale remodels and single family homes required
