Active Secret What You Will Do :
The Data Analyst would provide data science and predictive modeling support for the client agency. The client is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing U.S. policies, both within the UN system and in abroad range of non-UN organizations, as they relate to financial, budgetary, administrative, and management issues, as well as promoting U.S. citizen employment in international organizations through public outreach and diplomatic engagement.
The client requires support working on a data tool that utilizes business rules and programmed logic in addition to machine learning to identify areas to target review as well as problematic language in draft resolutions. By utilizing programmable logic and machine learning, the client will be able to immediately identify such areas for review and possible revision before sending drafts out for clearance and can flag the problematic language for interagency counterparts.
Successful candidates will have experience with data science, work well in a collaborative environment, think creatively, thrive under pressure, and be able to adjust to shifting priorities quickly. Candidates will possess effective diplomatic, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
At least three years of professional experience working with data
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Proficiency in performing data science and predictive modeling using Python or R.
Experience in designing and maintaining SQL Server databases or with database administration.
Experience supporting Federal National Security organizations.
Ability to analyze large and complex datasets (structured and unstructured), with a strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Proficiency in wrangling, cleaning, and analyzing data using Python, R, or SQL.
Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in Python.
Ability to juggle and successfully deliver on multiple ongoing workstreams/projects.
Strong communication/presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Strong consulting skills: identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships, driving initiatives forward.
Ability to support business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.
Ability to operate successfully on remote projects as well as the ability to support hybrid on-site projects in the DC metro area.
