Job Description:

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing design team. We are building the best-in-class financial technology for the home improvement industry. As a Junior product designer on our team, many opportunities exist to help our customers improve and grow their business.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for conceptualizing and building an easy-to-use platform, helping us create a seamless and delightful experience in collaboration with product and engineering.

Contribute to bringing ideas on the long-term product roadmap to life to spur conversation and excitement from our team and our customers.

Communicate clearly with stakeholders and apply critical design thinking to uncover project requirements and develop project briefs.

Manage the workflow of multiple design projects and deadlines.

Talk to prospects and potential users to validate concepts and develop thoughtful solutions.

Obsessively refine every interaction and visual design detail.

Recommend frameworks and technology to measure usability and the impact of your work.

Qualifications:

1+ years of relevant experience designing exceptional enterprise-class applications.

Demonstrable experience building digital products from conception to delivery.

Knowledge of the end-to-end design process (discovery and delivery).

Experience identifying and prioritizing opportunities, forming hypotheses, creating experiments, and collaboratively creating success metrics.

Great communication skills and familiarity with technical language to facilitate collaboration with other teams.

Knowledge of best practices for accessibility and experience designing for different devices and screen sizes.

Organisation skills needed to create and maintain easy-to-use documentation.

Familiarity working in a cross-disciplinary environment, where experimentation and testing are valued.

Business-oriented, data-driven, detail-oriented, and autonomous mindset.

Ability to communicate your ideas, concepts, and insights.
