**Moves, loads, and unloads products within the warehouse from reserve storage to primary storage manually on foot, by cart, or manual pallet jack. Addresses product shorts by reviewing consolidated and move tickets as well as manual notifications filled out by pickers. Breaks products down appropriately from pallets and manufacturers packaging into proper storage and selling units for the primary location. Repackages items from manufacturers boxes to better fit in locations. Rotates inventory as necessary to ensure most recent expiration dates are picked first. Ensures flammable and refrigerated items are stored in appropriate locations. Disposes of empty pallets and packaging appropriately. Performs other reasonably related duties that may be assigned.**

**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Knowledge of basic warehousing operations and high school diploma or comparable work experience required.**

**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Basic product knowledge required for familiarity with selling units to distinguish how products are to be stored. Good reading and communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).**

**PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Also, may encounter various environmental conditions such as hot and cool temperatures, hazardous items, noise, and dust. Must be able to work while standing on concrete floors for long periods. May also be necessary to use step ladders to perform tasks involving climbing and reaching. May be required to work in a refrigerated environment.**
