About the Role
The Managing Director, Medical Education role is a key leadership position that involves collaborating with internal and external experts to identify practice gaps, develop strategic needs assessments, and create high-quality content for medical education activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Medical Directors, staying updated on clinical issues and industry trends, and establishing relationships with faculty thought leaders. Additionally, the role requires the design of accredited education based on unmet needs and defined learning objectives, as well as contributing to new business development by identifying clinical practice gaps and potential funders.Candidates for this position should be comfortable working remotely and independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. An advanced medical or science degree is preferred, or a minimum of 4 years' experience in the medical education field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in grant writing, experience in designing and editing clinical content, and at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in medical education, including team management. Strong editorial skills, the ability to adapt editorial style, and expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, are essential. Familiarity with the AMA Style Guide and a solid background in general medicine editorial topics are also required.
