Expert Integration Architect (Remote)

The Expert Integration Architect is responsible for leading end-to-end solution design, technical implementation and customer onboarding for Acxiom’s Cloud Products and API’s. You will work with the external Acxiom customer to gather and translate customer requirements into solutions, through architecture and design artifacts, and provide technical leadership to the project or account team, ensuring both the client’s and Acxiom’s overall business strategy and technical vision are incorporated into the solution. You will provide client support that requires a focus on consulting for proposed changes, process improvements, issue resolution, research of client data inquiries, and working closely with internal and external associates. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, ability to coordinate multiple resources and tasks while supporting the overall goals, initiatives, and objectives of the solution and the client.

*This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

Lead technical design, implementation, on-boarding and support of Acxiom Cloud Products and API solutions for clients.

Ensure individualized solution incorporates client's and Acxiom’s overall business strategy and technical vision.

Technical lead in all solution communications with the client and supervises its progress throughout the implementation of Acxiom Cloud Products and API’s.

Provides client consulting for proposed changes, process improvements, issues, or research of client data inquiries.

Coordinate technical aspects of changes, issues, and research in a self-directed manner.

Provide direction with technical and business requirements. Ensure solution design fulfills functional and technical requirements and can consistently meet progress against service level agreements (SLAs).

Consult, advise, and educate management, affected teams, and clients through communications at the appropriate technical granularity. Share standard methodologies and incorporate lessons learned into estimates, standards, and protocols.

What You Will Have:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience.

8+ years’ experience in technical roles, including experience designing solutions as an architect, developer, or similar role.

Ability to collaborate with mid to high-level client partners and communicate effectively.

Ability to effectively problem solve and think outside the box for all research and/or issue troubleshooting needs.

Ability to take detailed, highly technical concepts and present in a high-level, non-technical fashion.

Capable of effectively communicating and articulating the business benefits of the solution.

Ability to exhibit and demonstrate leadership within a given implementation or major change project and provide technical leadership to the team.

Understanding of API Design Principles and Architectural Styles such as REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.

Understanding of API Documentation Tools (e.g., Swagger/Open API) and Version Control Systems (e.g., Grit)

Familiarity with standards and best practices for endpoint creation, data serialization, authentication, and versioning.

Awareness of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR or HIPPA) to ensure APIs adhere to legal and regulatory standards.

What Will Set You Apart:

Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, Python, JavaScript, Java

Proficiency in cloud-native technologies and platforms – AWS. Snowflake, Adobe Platforms

Familiarity with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures)

API Management experience

Sound knowledge of database structure and management practices
