e-Commerce Specialist

Our 100+ year old client has cultivated their product for people around the globe to enjoy! While they do sell to manufacturers and wholesalers, this role will focus on the retail side for the North American Consumer. To meet consumer demand, they are looking for an eCommerce Specialist to join their team and assist with their Amazon Marketplace. The eCommerce Specialist with get to wear many hats to help ensure products are properly displayed online with the right SKU data, retire old products while prominently displaying new product rollouts, ensure assets/imagery showcase the features and benefits of the product lines, optimize content for best exposure, and of course, monitor and analyze rankings and ratings against similar products.
Essential Job Functions E-Commerce Strategies
Develop and execute online business strategies with a primary focus on Amazon, employing best practices to enhance sales.
Manage Amazon selling platforms, collaborating with external agencies to optimize performance.
Build product pages, coordinate photo shoots, and manage digital assets.
Maintain product listings and optimize content daily, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies.
Ensure competitive pricing and monitor performance metrics to drive improvements.
Generate regular sales and marketing reports.
Assist in inventory forecasting and planning.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain category leadership.
Optimize product listings through keyword research and content enhancement.
Conduct ongoing research to improve content performance and keyword optimization.
e-Commerce Customer Service
Support retailer initiatives including order processing, SKU setup, and shipment tracking.
Monitor performance metrics and customer feedback to ensure high service levels.
Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and manage inventory availability.
Coordinate shipping logistics with warehouse operations.
Address and resolve issues promptly and maintain detailed logs of daily activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in Amazon marketplace management.
SEO skills, competitive analysis and research
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office; tech-savvy with strong analytical abilities.
Valid California Driver’s license required.
