About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director for Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) to lead the development and execution of the global medical affairs strategy for the TED portfolio. This pivotal role involves cross-functional leadership, serving as the primary representative of the company's TED commitment externally, and leading and managing relationships with key stakeholders such as opinion leaders, medical societies, and patient organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the global medical strategy for both marketed and pipeline-stage TED assets, driving change management efforts, and ensuring effective communication and education both externally and internally. Basic qualifications for this role include a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 6 years of medical affairs experience and 6 years of managerial experience. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree (MD/DO/OD/PhD/PharmD), extensive clinical research experience in related therapeutic areas, and a proven track record of leadership in the biopharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the treatment of TED or related conditions, formal training in a related medical/clinical subspecialty, and experience in shaping a new therapy area and product launch. They should also possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and embody the leadership attributes of the company, which include the ability to inspire, accelerate, integrate, and adapt.
