Responsibilities :
Lead the migration of on-premises applications to the AWS Cloud platform, including Amazon C2S and SC2S environments.
Set up and configure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and routers to ensure seamless operations in both classified and unclassified environments.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and streamline the development process.
Build and deploy applications in Kubernetes within the AWS environment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and design appropriate solutions.
Architect VPC network architectures to support the needs of various applications and workloads.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members throughout the migration process.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, particularly TS/SCI requirements.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience totaling 15 years or more.
Proven experience in cloud migration projects, with a focus on AWS Cloud Platform and classified environments (Amazon C2S and SC2S).
Strong knowledge of AWS services and features, including VPCs, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.
Hands-on experience with Amazon C2S and SC2S environments, including familiarity with security controls and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in building and deploying applications in Kubernetes.
Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
Expertise in VPC network architecture design and implementation.
Preferred: Previous experience as an Amazon Solution Architect.
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
