Solution Consultant (Remote - North America)

Responsibilities:

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our Pre-Sales team in North America. This position is responsible for supporting the Hexagon sales organization across the North America region, to help drive Hexagon sales business, by demonstrating how the Solutions meet Customer needs and desired business outcomes. It will act as a Solution Consultant to both internal customers (sales team) and external customers. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Manages the pre-sales technical

Confidently speaks in public and acts as a technical leader in Customer interactions.

Captures technical work process requirements and translates them into a demonstratable workflow using Hexagon Solutions

Supports and educates the sales team with the value proposition of Hexagon Solutions with an emphasis on Operations Management, ICS Configuration, Asset Information Management.

Develops and maintain a high-level understanding of industry related standards and best practices such as those related to Operations Risk Management and Asset Information Management across different aspects of the process industries.

Supports marketing on sales campaigns and initiatives across the

Learns and outlines the technical details of the entire Hexagon portfolio.

Provides technical subject matter expertise across the Hexagon product

Provide in-depth technical demonstrations, as needed, of all Hexagon solutions highlighting the value of the solutions to customer.

Maintains and adjust demonstrations systems, scripts, and data to fit various market opportunities.

Development of proof of concepts when necessary, making sure Customers needs are meet and benefits of the solution are demonstrated.

Contribute with the technical content proposals including architecture, scope, among others.

Influences the product roadmap with Product Management/Business Development (BD) and the marketing

Qualifies opportunities and outlines the business value of the Hexagon solutions.

Provides technical and business leadership on client engagements, ensuring high customer satisfaction and facilitating communications on ongoing

Helps sales team develop new opportunities to solve customer challenges including enhancements to improve functionality of the

Partner with other departments and personnel to generate new sales opportunities.

Help identify team growth

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering or an information technology related field.

Minimum of 5 years in technical sales including software and/or related consulting services.

Minimum if 3 years of experience in customer industries such as refining, chemicals, oil and gas, power generation, pulp and paper and mining verticals.

Technical and subject matter expertise in at least one the following categories:

Operations Risk Management

Asset Information & Document Management (SDx)

Familiar with design and configuration of DCS hardware and software components, including controllers, I/O modules, communication networks, and operator interfaces.

Preferred

Holistic view of Enterprise implementations, with good working knowledge of Hexagon solutions such as: j5, IM (SDx, SPO, SPF), Cyber OT

Database concepts, preferably SQL Server or Oracle Database.

Knowledge of working with IT setup, including VM configurations.

Knowledge on industrial software related to DCS, PLC, SCADA and HMI.

Knowledge on enterprise asset management and plant maintenance applications, preferably SAP PM, IBM Maximo or Infor EAM.

Good understanding of Operations Management environment related to industrial Control Room and Field Operations

Other

Travel: 40% or less across the region
