Column Technical Services is seeking a skilled Programmer Analyst I with experience in system analysis, design, and implementation, relevant to Visual Studio/Enterprise platforms and to utilize your system design and development skills to assist an established financial service-related insurance company leverage their technology investments in Chicago.
This is a hybrid model, and applicants must live in the Chicagoland area for onsite support, and we DO NOT provide sponsorship to work in the USA.
This is a high-profile opportunity, with strong user community interaction required to facilitate the design, delivery, and maintenance of solid business systems.
Responsibilities
Timely Delivery of Weekly Assignments
Application Development (C#, ASP, HTML, JavaScript)
Weekly Status Reporting
Maintain Project and System Documentation
Support Current Applications
Focus on Visual Studio and C#
Experience with building components that update to Enterprise level databases on MS SQL Server
Job Requirements
Required Technical Skills
Visual Studio C# .NET (Batch programs, Web, WinForms)
Visual Studio Web Development (ASP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
Visual Studio SSRS.
MS SQL
PowerShell and DOS commands
VBScript
Crystal Reports
Personal and Interpersonal
3-5 years of experience supporting business systems.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Time Management skills, including meeting deadlines set by superiors.
Ability to work as a development team member and work independently.
Ability to work with users to define business requirements and design solutions.
Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
Committed to long-term technical and business knowledge development and learning.
