What You’ll Do
The QA Specialist has a crucial responsibility of maintaining the quality standards of the Traece platform for both web and mobile interfaces. This role demands adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile development environment. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and report defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes. Furthermore, they rigorously test the deliverables against predefined content, design, and functional benchmarks to ensure that they meet the desired outcomes.
Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases to thoroughly evaluate product functionality, performance, and user experience. (both manual and automated)
Perform software QA testing (manual/automated) on the Traece Product (mobile & web)
Own the final Acceptance & Release process from development to production deployment of all Cambium Software products
During testing, any bugs or quality issues found will be identified, documented, and resolved.
Investigate, report, triage, and document errors in functional systems and products. Verify execution and quality of change requests to ensure continuing quality as products evolve
Experience testing APIs via Postman
Establish expertise in the functions, features and usage of our software platform
Assist in the documentation of features (guides)
Be the first line of defense on our user support channels

This role will report to: Nishan Bhagat, QA and Product Support Lead
When: We’re looking to fill this role immediately
Where: Baltimore-based candidates preferred, but open to remote candidates.
Salary Range: $70k - $85k, or commensurate with experience.

Requirements
About You (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least two years relevant experience required
Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Solid knowledge of software testing principles and techniques, including test planning, test case design, and defect management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Passion for quality and continuous improvement, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualification
Experience as a QA tester or similar role, specifically in web and mobile development preferred
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
