We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in General or Commercial Litigation for our thriving law firm.
This is an exceptional opportunity for those who have a passion for litigation and are eager to make a significant impact within the legal industry. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of litigation, including general litigation, medical malpractice, insurance defense, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and creditors' rights.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Attorney, your main duties will include:
1. Handling a wide array of general and commercial litigation matters independently and with minimal supervision.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop legal strategies and solutions.
4. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that serves their best interests.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and changes in the law that may affect clients.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure high-quality legal services.
8. Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and professional responsibility in all interactions with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Arizona and in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of 1 years of experience in general or commercial litigation.
4. Proven track record in handling medical malpractice, insurance defense, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and creditors' rights.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines and priorities.
7. Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant technology.
8. Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
