Construction Project Manager

As an Industrial Construction Project Manager II, you’ll manage multiple construction projects of medium to large complexity, with medium to large budgets.

We are looking for:

a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

8+ years of experience in industrial construction

ability to manage multiple projects of medium to large complexity

What is the work?

Project Management:

Manages multiple, concurrent projects of medium complexity with medium to large budgets

Manages all aspects of project development / closeout with the Manufacturing, Warehouse, & Transportation divisions, H-E-B business units, governing agencies, and vendors

Develops project scope, budget, and schedule with appropriate internal customer

Prepares request for proposal (RFP) for medium complexity projects

Assists in preparation of project-specific unique Design-Build construction contracts for certain projects

Coordinates / conducts project inspections during construction; reports on project status

Ensures project cost control with a focus on cost reduction; assists in producing cost estimates and preliminary budgets

Manages bid process for all projects

Manages project scheduling and compliance

What is your background?

A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

8+ years of construction management, or related experience

Travel by car or plane with overnight stays
