Job Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Associate, you will support the Accounting Department by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in nearly all functional areas and transactions.
Accounts Payable: Process and organize invoices to ensure invoices are paid and received timely
Accounts Receivable: Manage cash application, ensure all cash receipts are applied properly
Assist in updating current process
Communicate effectively with customers regarding payments/invoices to vendors
Collections: Assure timely collection of monies due, when applicable
Qualifications
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information
Microsoft Office (Strong Excel)
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detailed and deadline-oriented
Strong computer skills
Technical knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
2-3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance position
Bachelor’s degree preferred (High School Diploma required)
