Keys to Success:

Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems and adapt approved engineering methods and standards

Reviews and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.

Meets deadlines, communicate and work closely in a team environment, and execute complex engineering activities reliably.

Prepares engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions of a project accurately and in a timely manner.

Prepare cost estimates with quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or time and cost of labor to determine project feasibility or bond quantity amounts.

Provide analytical assessment of complex engineering data such as, design agreements, design calculations, preliminary specifications, and other technical data.

Ability to build and maintain professional co-worker, client, and community relationships.

Qualifications:

Registered PE in the states of Washington and/or Oregon

Applicable project experience includes the preparation of land development designs and drafting for site plans, subdivisions, preliminary plats, planning, exhibits, utilities, road plan and profiles, as well as, storm drainage design.

Experience mentoring civil project engineers and EITs

Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 annually. Additionally we are offering an initial signing bonus and annual profit sharing bonus.

Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to our company sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. Company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit sharing bonuses.

We understand that life happens so we work to offer flexibility in the workplace. Our team members can choose to work up to two days per week from their home office.
