Key Accountabilities

  • Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Receive, store and distribute materials, equipment, and products within assigned area.
  • May sweep floors, clean dock area, general cleaning of entire work area.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or move orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Open bales, crates and other containers.
  • May operate manual hand tools, including handheld scanners
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures.
  • Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Capable of basic data entry and familiarity with handheld computer devices.
  • Perform simple math (add, subtract, multiple, and divide).
  • Ability to function within a team environment with changing priorities and workflows.
  • Comply with SEKO work policies and procedures.
  • Reliable, good work ethic.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Education & Experience

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: None

Compensation

Compensation The base salary compensation range being offer for this role is $16 - $22 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
