McCormick & Company, Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor and seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Sr Product (Brand) Manager on the North America CPD Marketing team supporting Hot Sauces (Frank's RedHot and Cholula). This new hire will work in our Global Headquarters in a hybrid capacity , based in Hunt Valley, MD . The Sr Product Manager will report to a Marketing Director.

This Senior Product (Brand) Manager will be primarily responsible for developing and executing strategic growth initiatives for McCormick & Co’s Hot Sauce brands in the US and Canada (Frank’s RedHot and Cholula) to achieve short- and long-term sales goals. Responsibilities of this position include the development and implementation of marketing plans for product segments that support McCormick’s net sales and profit objectives:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting & developing the profitable growth of Cholula and Frank’s RedHot brands in the US and Canada
Manage product life cycle including SKU optimization, new product business case development, and commercialization strategy & oversight
Responsible for the profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, distribution, merchandising, research, and new product plan for new and existing segments
Partner with Design and other category business teams to develop brand growth plans and help execute cross-category platform innovation
Strong analytical skills & demonstrated ability to analyze business performance, diagnose challenges & deliver actionable insights for growth
Manage P&L of segment(s) to achieve top and bottom-line goals via strategic product choices, Waste management, and CCI strategies
Identify communication needs and partner with Global Marketing organization to develop & influence paid and owned media strategy
Prepare commercial plans and present to senior leadership and external partners as needed for alignment
Provide strategic and tactical coordination with Global Marketing, eCommerce, Culinary, Graphics, Legal, Consumer Insights, Sales, Finance, Procurement and Supply
Work autonomously and take ownership for continued skill development
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of 7 years demonstrated relevant skills and results in consumer-packaged goods marketing or closely related field
3+ experience in syndicated databases, market research, business and brand planning, advertising, finance, promotional activities, and consumer communications
Strong project leadership experience with ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects
Sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing (functional expert) and a basic knowledge in other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication and teamwork skills
