As a Community Driver , you're responsible for transporting our residents to a variety of locations and ensuring that their ride with you is as comfortable as possible.
What Cascade Living and Deerfield Village look for in a Community Driver:
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid driver's license
Previous experience working with seniors preferred
Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
Compassionate individuals with a positive attitude, willing to offer physical assistance as needed
Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
What you can expect to do as a Community Driver for Deerfield Village: Transport residents to and from various locations, i.e., medical appointments, stores, banks, scenic drives and social events
Perform or assist in routine preventive maintenance procedures on the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer
Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff Inform the Life
Is subject to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts
Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
$16.50 - $17.50/hour
*Depending on Experience
Type: Part Time
Monday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
