Insurance Verification Specialist ’s Qualifications A High School Diploma or GED is required; An associate degree is highly recommended.
Two (2) years of medical billing experience is required.
Essential knowledge of CPT codes and basic medical terminology is highly preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills are required.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
