**Required Skills:**

Software Engineer, AR Engine Graphics Core Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative graphics frameworks, algorithms, and tools to maximize graphics quality and performance.

2. Partner closely with various infra and product teams across Meta Platforms, on camera, graphics, upcoming hardware, media enhancements, and more to create real-time rendering architecture.

3. Building tools and pipelines for generating very realistic synthetic images.

4. Enable high fidelity experiences through remote compute solutions on smaller devices with limited battery.

5. Building rendering subsystems for platforms such as SparkAR and Horizon.

6. Build a platform for cloud streamed games.

7. Document and support graphics features.

8. Write high-quality, performant, and maintainable code.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovation into AR/VR products.

10. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:

12. Object-oriented and component based design experience

13. C and/or C++ programming

14. Graphics software engineering experience

15. High level graphics APIs including Metal, OpenCL and OpenGL

16. GPU Architecture

17. Python/Shell scripting.

$207,440/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
