Role: Solution Architect
Type: Contract
Contract Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite day1)
Contract Duration: 11 months
Hourly Pay Rate: Market Standard
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 Years+
Key Responsibilities includes and not limited to:
Solve complex problems by designing or modifying technology architecture and testing the integration of software in these designs for correct functionality.
Building and integrating information systems to meet the clients needs
Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
Resolving technical problems as they arise
Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture
Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets
Qualifications
Requirements and skills
At least 5+ years of Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
Familiarity with cloud architectures and deploying applications to the cloud. Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS a plus.
Previous project management experience is advantageous.
Understanding of big data and MPP technologies and data platforms.
Experience with Cisco network equipment, F5 Load Balancers, Global Site Load Balancer, L4-7 services integration in a data center environment are plus
In-depth understanding of coding languages python, java, SQL
Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
Efficient communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Bachelors degree in information technology or computer science is preferred.
