Summary:
This is a very exciting new growth created corporate level real estate investment and acquisitions leadership opportunity located in California.
This individual will head up, build and manage a national investment/acquisitions platform and team at the highest level. This role reports directly to a founding Principal and is at the strategic and business planning leadership level where this individual will continue to build and grow a national class A multifamily acquisitions business unit and high-performance team.
The firm is a full-service investor, owner, and operator of class A multifamily assets, has a national platform, is very well capitalized and continuing on a strong growth trajectory. This role was created as a result of growth and succession planning as this will be the first external hire to join the executive round table at the highest level and ultimately "backfilling" one of the founding principals roles to allow him to increase his focus on growing the company. As such, as this person integrates to scale, this role will continue building out the structure eventually hiring and managing regional leaders to run US East, US Central and US West. Currently there are a team of 6 that support this position with 2-3 individuals designated to each region depending on demand and deal flow. This individual will continue building the overall investment and acquisitions platform, team, geographical footprint and strategy, with the goal to increase production, performance and overall AUM. The firm currently has ~$2B+ AUM and is growing at a rate of ~$750M - $1B+ of owned and managed AUM per year.
Again, this is an incredible opportunity for an individual driven by equity upside with a firm that has significant capacity now and for continued long-term future growth. This leader will continue building the investment platform and team while growing into something much larger. They are entrepreneurially driven and known for their great culture, respected leadership, sophistication and high quality of product and systems.
