QA/QC Manager

Responsibilities:
Quality Control Implementation :
Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures specific to construction projects.
Inspect and monitor construction activities on-site to identify deviations from quality standards.
Document any defects or non-compliance issues.
Material Submittals and Compliance :
Prepare comprehensive, project-specific QC plans.
Submit materials for Architect/Engineer (A/E) and Government review.
Supervision and Training :
Supervise inspectors and other staff.
Train staff on new procedures and quality standards.
Communication and Collaboration :
Communicate quality standards effectively.
Collaborate with executives and project teams.
Attend meetings related to quality control processes.
Requirements:
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within civil construction.
Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
Certifications :
Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) are advantageous.
Skills :
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to interpret project specifications and drawings.
