Description

As Territory Sales Manager, you will promote Dynabrade abrasive power tools and related products and accessories through an established distribution network to our customers. You will apply best-in-class innovative solutions to increase their productivity and quality within their facilities. Thus achieving our goal of providing measurable sales growth, improved profitability, and increased customer loyalty.

This remote position requires the ability of daily travel for servicing an account base in Oregon, Washington State, and the NW Panhandle of Idaho.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Joint Sales Calls with Distributor Sales Representatives, and/or Strategic Partners when promoting and selling Dynabrade Power Tool products to customers.

• Conduct product training with distributors and participate in open houses with their end-users.

• Nurture positive relationships with distributor partners and customers alike, and proactively engage with them to minimize conflict.

• Drive an annual planning process with distributors to establish territory goals and objectives.

• Develop a sales plan to support and promote Dynabrade Solutions to targeted industries within your territory, identifying prospects, and converting new opportunities and accounts.

• Accountable?for implementing the tactical actions of the plan, and sales targets within the territory.

• Plan, schedule, and prioritize tasks within the territory.

• The guideline for time allotment would be 80% End-User calls, 15% distributor visit calls, and 5% tool clinics/trade shows within the territory.?

• Stay updated on industry information, new product information, competition, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

• Continuous self-improvement and technical knowledge of all Dynabrade products and associated applications, with heavy priority given to applications within your territory. Be the Expert.

• Familiar with ISO certification, quality and the product improvement steps we take to meet customer and other regulatory requirements, that enhance customer satisfaction and exceed product quality.

• Work closely with Regional Manager, Dynabrade Product Managers, Trainers, and Marketing team to support and promote products.

Requirements

Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Sales experience

• Frequent travel required, 50% travel, with a homebased office

• Demonstrated Track Record of Sales Results.

• B.S. or B.A. in a related field, or technical experience of mechanical and electronic components.

• Experience using power tools and & completing projects that require use of tools. PREFERRED.

• Commitment to observing safety precautions in accordance with OSHA / ANSI Standards.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong computer literacy.?

• Well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and a diverse set of objectives.

• Goal-driven with minimal supervision and guidance.

• Ability to work individually, in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
