Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety compliance programs.
Provide on-site assistance for Environmental, Health and Safety programs compliance at client sites.
Assist clients with their compliance programs, including responding to enforcement actions and developing environmental management systems.
Perform Industrial Hygiene Assessment such as air sampling, ventilation testing, noise measurements.
Help industrial clients meet current and anticipated regulatory requirements such as those imposed by AQMD/APCD, EPA, DTSC, CUPA, Cal/OSHA, State and Regional Water Boards, and Sanitation Districts.
Interface with client environmental staff, review all environmental permits and applications, provide support to service operations, and review reporting as it relates to permits.
Help clients systematize their environmental compliance programs.
Candidates should have:
BS degree in environmental science, engineering, or industrial hygiene (or equivalent), MS preferred
0 – 3 years of related experience
Industrial hygiene experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of project activities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective technical writing skills along with MS Office proficiency
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred
California Driver’s License with clean DMV record
Reliable means of transportation
The position will be located in our Long Beach office.
