Types of surgeries include, General, Bariatric, Podiatry, GYN, GYN Oncology, Urology-GYN, Urology-Oncology, Colorectal, Vascular, Breast, Plastic, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Ortho joints, Brain, Spine, Pediatric dental, Ophthalmology, Robotics
Call, and holiday rotation.
The Procedural Lead, RN or Surgical Technologist assists in operations including helping set up the operating suite and maintaining the sterile field, transporting patients to surgery, and assisting with procedures.
This position provides professional care for patients under the supervision of the provider and educates patients on procedures and follow up care.
The Procedural Lead is the designates specialty area expert and functions as a liaison between staff, and providers.
The position assists in the orientation and continuing education of other staff in the perioperative area by assisting with the implementation of all policies and procedures for designated specialty area.
QUALIFICATIONS Required High School Diploma/GED (CST)
Associates Degree required (RN)
2 years Operating Room Experience Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Registered Nurse License
TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:
Never or Rarely
