POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Manager of OE Supply and Demand Planning [Inventory Control] reports to the Associate Director of Integrated Business Planning and focusses on OE business. It is responsible for the management of all strategic demand planning and inventory control functions, delivering world class inventory management, capacity planning and supplier management processes and metrics. In addition, work with sales, marketing and suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels. This position will be based at our future North American Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead and manage monthly sales planning/forecasting process working with sales team and provide insight driving the changes. Overseeing and developing the OE customer order management team. Helping to identifying customer needs, processing orders to timely shipment and delivery of orders to the customers.
Measure and drive improvement in forecast accuracy of OE customer forecast and shipment accuracy
Facilitate the management process (new products launches, product transition and end of life) working with sales team, marketing team and ATC supply chain
Proactively review monthly forecast trends and oversee the management of Yokohama-OHT and 3rd party mounting DC stocking strategy to ensure optimal inventory stocking levels
Manage product transition process and resulting markdown to achieve inventory turns & SMNM targets
Manage and help drive system changes to improve the evolving OE planning process and integration
Develop and execute cost, quality and service enhancing projects
Functional lead of implementation of supply chain planning system to manage inventory, sourcing, ordering process, capacity planning & allocation and any other system changes
Education and Experience 10+ years related experience
Bachelor’s Required; MBA and CPIM preferred
Strong Financial and detail orientated acumen a must
Relevant work experience within a Sales Planning, Sales, and/or Customer support function. Candidate should demonstrate ability to develop and improve business processes, evaluate and assess the financial and operational viability.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detail oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met without creating any negative impact to internal clients
Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
Strong interpersonal & communication skills w/ ability to interact with all levels and functions of organizations on both an individual and team basis
Must be a strong leader & developer of others with excellent strategic and planning skills
Prior Supervisory experience required
