What we're looking for:

Nexamp is looking to hire a Finance Analyst. You will be responsible for maintaining key operational models related to the reforecasting of project costs, margin and revenue conducted annually, quarterly, and monthly. This individual will also need to work cross functionally with key stakeholders to integrate finance related processes into operations. This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals. We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team.

You will be hybrid out of our Boston, MA Headquarters. You will report to the Finance Manager.

What you'll do:

Responsible for the execution and performance of various finance activities, including, but not limited to:

Prepare monthly project model for cost reforecasting and margin analysis (high-level excel skills required). This includes but is not limited to the following: working with other business units on key model assumptions, analyzing and interpreting the results and preparing additional analytics to support conclusions. This data will be used as part of the monthly presentation to C-Suite.

Annually, quarterly, and monthly assist with the inputs and configuration of the Clean Energy Deployment revenue, cost, and margin model, which is a date driven corporate model based on the timing of projects in construction.

Perform variance analysis against budget to continually monitor and report results to management.

Work cross functional with other key departments (e.g. Accounting, Project Finance, Construction, Engineering and Supply Chain) members to analyze results and confirm key inputs are being updated timely.

Assist with the corporate budgeting and reforecasting process as needed.

Aggregate data and help analyze results of financial models to aid business unit partners and improve overall company performance. Assist with the preparation of decks to management or other groups.

Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

Assist as needed on other Treasury & Finance & Operations related analytics and models.

Ad-hoc projects as requested by management.

What you'll bring:

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company. Qualifications include:

1+ years of experience in a finance, audit, consulting, or related role.

Strong understanding of financial statements and financial models.

Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strict attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Willing and able to adapt to a high energy, fast paced environment.

Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.

Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.

Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.

Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.

Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.

Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
