Overview:
Supervisor for Urinalysis, Serology, Coagulation. Regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work and verifies completion of work by various computer programs. Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations, maintain policy manuals and Lab readiness for inspections. Train new staff members and document performance. Manage all department functions in the assigned sections of the Lab. Able to maintain customer service standards, work independently, including weekends.
Qualifications:
Five years acute hospital experience preferred as a CLS. Two years in a supervisory role preferred. Microbiology and blood bank experience required. Bachelor's Degree required. Master degree preferred. CA licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required; ASCP certification preferred.
