Job Description Job Description Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. Role
Quilt is looking for a mission-driven professional to join as our first dedicated finance hire. This is a hands-on role working very closely with the founders, board, hiring managers, and operations people across the company to make good decisions, implement best practices, and maintain fantastic financial health.
Responsibilities
Overall establishment of the Finance function at Quilt.
Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and controller responsibilities.
Building and maintaining company financial models for both operations and fundraising.
Forecasting and scenario analysis.
Headcount growth planning.
Capital and financing strategy.
Financial metrics reporting.
Budgeting, spend tracking, and controls.
Financial operations.
Company accounting and bookkeeping.
Evaluating, selecting, and implementing an ERP system.
This is a full-time, onsite position in our Redwood City office. The expected salary range is $200,000 - $220,000. In addition to base salary, Quilt also offers meaningful equity and top-tier benefits. We are a growing team of ambitious people who truly care about the impact of their work.
