Our client is a small, well-established & innovative photonics firm is looking for a highly trained technologist (MS/PhD) to modify the organization's approach to Marketing, Sales and Business Development.
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence, fostering strategic partnerships & maximizing sales opportunities using in-depth photonics knowledge and proven marketing and sales experience
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders
Develop & execute specific marketing strategies to promote photonics products & services
Identify & prioritize key market segments and customer profiles to drive business growth.
Work with Engineering, Product Development & Customer Support teams to align product offerings with unmet market needs.
Attend industry events to showcase products, build brand awareness & generate leads.
Monitor & analyze sales performance metrics, market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
Focus on advancements in photonics technology , emerging market trends & regulatory issues to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
MS/Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Eng'g., Optics (ideally photonics / semiconductor devices)
Proven success in marketing & sales in a related industry
Ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Exceptional communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in market research & analysis tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
