Faculty Leadership Position in Hematology/Oncology: Quality and Safety Director
The Mass General Hospital Division of Hematology Oncology seeks applications from board-certified hematologists/oncologists for a leadership position overseeing quality and safety at the Mass General Hospital and our network hospitals. Appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor, full-time or part-time at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
The selected applicant will spend at least 50% of their effort devoted to the quality and safety component of the role with the other 50% effort on clinical and/or academic responsibilities. The Quality and Safety Director will work with Cancer Center, Divisional and Hospital Leadership in Ambulatory, Inpatient, Network, Physician, Advanced Practice Provider, Nursing, and Pharmacy at Massachusetts General Hospital. The role will encompass reviewing and monitoring safety reports, leading performance improvement initiatives, developing and tracking quality metrics and dashboards, managing the OPPE/FPPE process and leading the Quality and Safety Committee.
