CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Oversee sub-contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, to specifications, and on budget.

-Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.

-Plan and administrate the financial resources assigned to the project by controlling the budget

-Lead and direct the team assigned to the project.

-Align priorities between different project areas (R&D, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).

-Plan and follow up on the progress and performance of the project.

-Prepare weekly program updates to be reported to the BayoTech leadership team that gives an overview of the project status.

-Define and supervise the fulfillment of the deliverables of the project, in accordance with the plan.

-Utilize Microsoft Project to track the project schedule and milestones.

-Translate commercial terms, to clear, well-defined scope to support delivery certainty.

-Oversee project preparedness from deal award to commissioning and start-up.

-Work with the supply chain team to coordinate schedules and project requirements.

-Maintain an adequate balance between quality, safety, cost, scope and schedule of the Project.

-Ensure deployment of the unit is compliant with all local permitting requirements.

-Comfortable making presentations to key stakeholders concerning different phases of a project.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, and/or civil engineering required.

-Minimum 10 years of related experience required.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

-Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

-Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

-PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.

-Willingness to travel 50-75%.
