The Retail Store Manager is responsible for supervising the retail team, leading the stores strategic objectives, and assuring day-to-day operations are completed by maintaining reporting and inventory. To be successful in this role, the Store Manager will need to maintain a profitable store.
This position is a full time salary position with benefit eligibility and reports to the Senior Sales Manager.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
* **Manage Store Operations**
+ Resolve escalated customer issues
+ Reconcile accounts and make deposits
+ Create and oversee purchase order completion
+ Manage inventory and forecasting
+ Ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed
* **Lead Store Strategy**
+ Plan and implement strategic objectives that fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively in collaboration with leadership team
+ Evaluate, improve, and report the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance profitability and qualitative results
+ Establish, maintain, and present reports to key stakeholders
+ Engage in effective feedback systems to monitor and communicate operational and strategic alignment with interdepartmental objectives
+ Manage departmental budget and profitability metrics
* **Supervise Retail Team**
+ Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, select, and hire an appropriate team
+ Enable employees to meet Snow Peaks expectations for goal accomplishment by overseeing onboarding and continuous improvement
+ Monitor employee work schedules including assignments, training, paid time off, and overtime
+ Develop employees by coaching, mentoring, and providing effective performance feedback
+ Communicate transparently and resolve conflicts to foster a successful team that encourages the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness

**MUST HAVE**
* **Education/Certifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree
* **Experience**
+ 5 years working in a retail environment
+ 2 years managing or leading a team
**NICE TO HAVE**
* Experience with Japanese language and culture
* Experience in the outdoor, retail, or apparel industries
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
* Prolonged periods of standing
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
