Lead Software Engineer

Aurora, CO, United States

As a Lead Software Engineer at Rampart you will be a vital player as a leader on a team supporting the design and development of web-based intelligence analysis tools. You’ll be working with a team of developers, subject matter experts, UX designers, and Mission Users to create an end-to-end system of containerized user interfaces, microservices, and data stores.

Job Location: Responsibilities: Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.

Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications within the contract.

Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

Technical Requirements: Experience developing software with Java .

Experience implementing RESTful web services and enterprise service APIs.

Experience developing services that handle requests, route, and translate data models for use by other applications.

At least 3 years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligent activity.

15 years of experience as a software engineer supporting projects of similar scope and complexity.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related discipline preferred.

Desired Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.

Knowledge of REST API development.

Experience with JSON, XML.

Experience with the X-Midas signal processing environment
