+ Performs routine procedures in MRI on a scheduled and emergency basis.
+ Reviews and evaluates requisitions for MR imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations.
+ Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.
+ Selects appropriate equipment and technical parameters to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.
+ Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to instructions and develop a care plan for that patients' specific needs.
+ Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents regarding the exam and Magnetic field environment.
+ Follows MR QC Exam/Data Integrity workflow expectations.
+ Practices High Reliability Training.Consistently provides exceptional care and exceptional service.
+ Responds to the uniqueness of the patient, creating a supportive environment for the patient and the family.
+ Identifies and reports equipment malfunctions through the INeedit application.
+ Assists in organizing and maintaining daily operations.
+ Participates in departmental and hospital meetings.
+ Complies with ETU.Complies with HIPPA regulations.
