A global Chemical Manufacturing company who is a leading water-soluble polymer manufacturer, is on the lookout for a Process Engineer II. The company serves municipal water treatment facilities and the manufacturing, mining, oil, natural gas, personal care and agricultural industries.
Responsibilities:
The Process/Project Engineer II will be responsible for ensuring that their assigned projects are being completed on time and on budget
These projects will range from minor facility maintenance projects to leading $2.5MM capital improvement projects
Troubleshoot DCS and PLC issues and create control narrative for process changes
Develop equipment specifications and become knowledgeable on the equipment necessary for each project
Create and maintain project documents (scope of works, budgets, vendor documents)
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
3-8 years of related experience in engineering design of chemical plants or working as an engineer in a chemical manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience working in a RMP and PSM environment
Working knowledge of PHA, HAZOP, and MOCs
Practical understanding of electro-mechanical systems including pneumatics and automated control systems
