About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to lead the IT department and establish centralized data operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record of strategic thinking, particularly in the execution of IT, user/customer service support, and project management of technology priorities. Essential responsibilities include building a service-oriented IT function, optimizing department structure and staffing, developing user-friendly processes, and ensuring the performance and reliability of enterprise systems. The role also involves devising comprehensive IT policies, managing the IT budget, and coordinating the purchasing and management of IT equipment and services.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large IT projects. A strong understanding of various IT domains such as cloud operations, security, network and systems administration, and data analytics is required. The VP of IT will be expected to be a strategist, a player/coach, a collaborator, and outcome-oriented, with a focus on driving continuous progress and measurable results. The role also demands a candidate who is business-savvy and mission-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
