Are you passionate about technology and possess an innate ability to solve complex problems? C.S. Davidson, Inc. is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining our computer systems’ integrity and ensuring seamless technological support for our employees. As the first point of contact for helpdesk requests, you will work closely with our third-party IT consultant to deliver first-class service.
As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the cornerstone of our firm’s technology support, ensuring our computing systems function seamlessly. Your role entails providing personalized IT support to our employees, swiftly diagnosing, and resolving issues with MS Windows environments, MS Office suite, and a variety of office automation software to minimize downtime. You’ll manage the lifecycle of hardware and peripherals, from installation to maintenance, and provide expert support for specialized software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Collaboration with third-party consultants is critical for hardware and software management, including cloud-based licenses. Your responsibilities include traveling to our offices in Gettysburg and Lancaster to deliver hands-on support. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies in desktop computing, software tools, and networking will be essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
· Associate degree in Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science, or completion of a technical trade school.
· A minimum of two years in help desk and customer service roles.
· Proven interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
· Extensive knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
· Demonstrated ability in desktop troubleshooting.
Location:
· York office and travel between other offices as necessary.
