This role is a part of Hana Group North America, a division of Hana Group, the global leader in Sushi and Japanese-inspired cuisine sold in grocers and commerce marketplaces. We collaborate with leading grocery retailers (primarily in the US) to sell Sushi and other Japanese-inspired cuisine under the brands Genji and Mai Sushi. Job Description Summary
The recruiting coordinator is responsible for recruitment of our headquarters’ support roles in addition to our operations roles within grocery stores and retail outlets. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivated and have strong ability to perform high volume multitasking on deadlines. Experience with high-turnover hourly positions in food service or retail preferred. This is a salaried position (not commission) and will be a permanently remote role. ATS experience is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Recruiting Coordinator will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Manage all job postings and advertisement processes
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
Manages new employee onboarding and orientation
Informs employees on their first tasks (e.g. which programs to download and how to activate their accounts)
Ensures new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and software
Distributes manuals, passwords and guidelines, as needed
Manages and trains others on ATS, troubleshoot issues and act as point of contact for all questions from managers and applicants
Manages drug testing and background checks
Generates reports and summaries on applicant flow, time to hire, turnover, and others as requested by management

Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
