QA Engineer Role Overview: The selected candidate will have an exciting opportunity to grow from a manual testing role to automation. Initially, the role will involve manual testing for a period ranging from 3 to 9 months, after which there will be a transition to automation testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and excel in the realm of automation engineering.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications and systems to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide valuable insights for enhancements.
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
Document test results and communicate issues effectively to the development team.
Participate in the transition process to automation testing and contribute actively to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts.
Learn and adapt to new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.
Profile
Key Requirements for this QA Engineer:
Prior experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong willingness to learn and grow into an automation engineering role.
Enthusiasm and eagerness to embrace new challenges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and processes.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
