A premier refractive surgery practice is seeking a full-time Refractive Surgeon to join our team. We specialize in vision correction procedures, including LASIK, PRK, ICLs, and refractive cataract surgery. Our new associate will have access to cutting-edge equipment and an on-site excimer laser suite. Surgeries are performed at a nearby surgery center with buy-in opportunities available. There is no hospital call or satellite clinic requirement.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate refractive surgeon focused on enhancing our patients' vision. A surgeon in the practice will transition patients to the new associate upon arrival, so a strong customer service mindset is essential as patient volume and surgical cases will increase rapidly. The surgeon slowing down is also open to providing ongoing mentorship for those interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform LASIK, PRK, ICLs, and refractive cataract surgeries.
Provide exceptional patient care and follow-up.
Collaborate with a skilled team and staff.
Maintain current knowledge of advancements in refractive surgery.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with specialization in Ophthalmology.
Board certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology.
Valid state medical license.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary of $250,000 to $400,000, depending on experience.
Production bonus.
