BWH Concierge Medicine Medical Director The Primary Care Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital presents an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to lead our pioneering Concierge Medicine service. As the Concierge Medicine Director, you will spearhead a unique patient-centric care model within a renowned institution committed to innovation and patient well-being. Reporting to the Director of Primary Care, you will play a pivotal role in redefining healthcare excellence through personalized and high-touch medical services for a select patient panel. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the future of our Concierge Medicine program.
Lead the development and implementation of the Concierge Medicine service, setting the vision and strategic direction in collaboration with senior leadership.
Inspire, mentor, and manage a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Oversee the daily operations of the Concierge Medicine program, ensuring efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and patient satisfaction.
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and service excellence.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, staff, and the broader medical community.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve patient care and streamline practice operations.
Monitor and evaluate program performance metrics, utilizing data to inform decision-making and optimize care delivery.
Promote and support ongoing education and professional development for the Concierge Medicine team.
Provide personalized consultations during regular business hours and accommodate early morning or evening appointments as needed with after-hours telephone access to patients.
Participate in both weekday and as needed weekend coverage as per the Concierge Medicine Practice schedule.
Make professional clinical decisions for patient diagnosis and treatment, including remote guidance and after-hours coverage. Ensure timely follow-ups on test results and seamless coordination of care with specialists and allied health professionals.
Maintain presence during patient hospitalizations, collaborate with the inpatient team, within the Brigham and Women’s system. This may include weekends. Serving as the attending of record is not required.
Uphold professional and ethical standards within the Concierge Medicine Practice, accountable to the Director of Primary Care.
Maintain effective communication, sound customer service skills, and prompt responsiveness.

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Unrestricted Massachusetts Full Physician license (or eligibility).
Proven experience in concierge medicine and delivering clinical excellence.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and time management skills.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with a track record of program development, team management, and operational oversight.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School
Depending upon the position, there may be opportunities to teach residents and medical students. All Harvard Medical School Faculty appointments require at least 50 hours of teaching per academic year. Harvard Medical School faculty appointment is not a requirement of this position. Appointment at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
