We are a dynamic full-service insurance agency offering personal and commercial insurance, life insurance and financial services. The Schomburg Agency team of dedicated professionals provides clients with the highest level of customer service. Thanks to our exciting growth, our busy team needs to hire a Customer Service Representative. This in-house role will provide top quality customer service and administrative support to our clients and team members – and will do this cheerfully and reliably. We are seeking a detail-oriented, flexible and cooperative individual with a proven track record demonstrating a commitment to quality, performance, responsiveness and communication.

The responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative can change on a daily, even hourly, basis at times. Generally, the tasks would include the following:

Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks based on agency needs. This will include maintaining files and client records, preparing documents and other correspondence, data entry, recordkeeping, and auditing client records for accuracy.

Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, quoting and claim submissions -- providing prompt, concise, and accurate responses to all inquiries including those made in-person as well as via voice, text and email. Maintain a working knowledge of our agency's offerings, including changes as they occur.

Build positive relationships with our agency team as well as our clients, using strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Interact with everyone in a consistently professional and courteous manner.

Interested applicants must possess these required skills:

Demonstrated success in a client-facing customer service role for at least one year.

Insurance Producer License (Property, Casualty, Life) expected within 45 days of start.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite as well as technologically current office equipment to include printers, scanners,

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance expectations in a demanding, fast-paced, busy office environment. We will only consider applicants who have been employed working full-time hours, onsite and in person.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, punctuality, and reliability.

Ability to work 100% of the time from our office in North Denver 80221. This is an in-person position and working remotely is not an option.

Fluent and accurate English written and verbal language skills

Preferred skills:

Office Technology expert with advanced education

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (shift includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.) Work is performed for 7.5 hours per day.

Pay: $20-$22 per hour, DOE
