Senior Battery Design Engineer - Mechanical Cell Design

My client is transforming the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platform to address the major issues for a better energy future. They offer a simpler, more dependable, safer manufacturing method that speeds up production while cutting the prices of current and next-generation cell technology.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and validating lithium-ion cells.
Knowledge of typical battery manufacturing methods like ultrasonic welding, laser welding, heat sealing, etc.
Proficient in 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks.
Skilled in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), including tolerance stackup analysis.
Capable of predicting cell properties (e.g., capacity, energy density) based on electrode properties.
